1 1 2013
Today we used Fast Wax HS0 Extreme which rivals Start Green but is "local". For kick Rex Powergrip Blue seriously outperformed all others once again today with both durability and even initial kick.
Tomorrow we are going with CH6 as the snow will be minimal and Rex Powergrip Blue. Rode Multigrade Violet covered with star blue would also work if you dont want to iron.

Summer Product Testing
Today the test team worked a combination of start grip tape and Swix Extra Red Hard Wax. Conditions were full sun, 3' of snow or more, firm base and had transitioned to above 32. In the few shaded areas below freezing the wax grabbed but other areas it was a good combination. Definitley worth a try if you are skiing in hot conditions in late june. Add that to your race arsenal just in case.

Ladies and Gentlemen the season has been shut down and closed for 2011. I hope everyone was able to partake in waxing information to enhance their on snow experience. Once the winds of Thor blow strong we shall again sing a song and provide waxing recommendations for you. We will see you again in late fall of 2011. Until then put the warmest wax you own on and dont scrape it off.
