Kick: Rex Powergrip 4 for the majority of the day and go 1 colder for early am

Glide: Swix Ch7 AM CH8 PM

Saturday in West (yes the West in MT that everyone is at)

Kick: Rex Powergrip 4 if skiing after 10 (why get up too early) if before go one colder

Glide: Fastwax HSF Tan if you uh want to go fast, or Toko Red covered with Fast Wax Red Powder

Glazy packed conditions would be expected again and powergrip simply excels in such areas.

Addendum West

Since the new snow did not materialize Rex Powergrip 4 is the choice for the varied conditions of packed in on the front half and somewhat packed in tracks on the back.

Friday in West

Glide: Rex Blue

Kick: if the new snow in the "advisory" falls, Binder, 2 layers Rode Multigrade Violet and 2 layers of Swix Extra Blue. If the new snow does not fall Star Red or Rex Powergrip.

Summer Product Testing

Today the test team worked a combination of start grip tape and Swix Extra Red Hard Wax. Conditions were full sun, 3' of snow or more, firm base and had transitioned to above 32. In the few shaded areas below freezing the wax grabbed but other areas it was a good combination. Definitley worth a try if you are skiing in hot conditions in late june. Add that to your race arsenal just in case.

Ladies and Gentlemen the season has been shut down and closed for 2011. I hope everyone was able to partake in waxing information to enhance their on snow experience. Once the winds of Thor blow strong we shall again sing a song and provide waxing recommendations for you. We will see you again in late fall of 2011. Until then put the warmest wax you own on and dont scrape it off.
